just like your kids

Declining birth rate is one of the most serious problems in Japan.

On the contrary, the number of pets is increasing.
25 million pets are in Japan now.

Especially dog is the most popular pet. Owners treat dogs just like their kids.

You can have such services in Japan.

case 1
I go abroad but I can't take my pet with me.

---There is a pet hotel near Narita International Airport, 'Pet Inn Royal Narita Airport'.
The suite room costs $170(20,000yen) per night.

case 2
I don't want to leave my dog alone when I go to the office.

---There is a nursery for your pet. Your pet won't be alone when you go out for work.

case 3
My dog should be on a diet.

---There is a training gym for your dog. Trainers will treat your dog in the training.

I don't know whether these services are popular in other countries or not.
What about your country?

Supermarket on the web

Okuwa is a supermarket in Wakayama prefecture. It launched 'Net super Okuwa', which is a supermarket on the web.

If the customer shop in the website by 2 pm, the items are delivered within 3 hours.

The fee for delivery is free when you purchase over 3,000 yen.

The website has two shopping website. One is a usual shopping website, another is made by flash. The flash version is just like walking the real supermarket. You can pick up items from the shelves.

Number of elder people and working women are increasing in Japan. Retail stores are trying to be convenient for them. It is a way to survive.

Start

Hello. I am a representative of webarton, a web design company in Japan.

Though many Japanese love to go abroad and they are interested in other cultures, there are still a wall between foreign countries and Japan because of their languages.

I think foreign countries are also interested in Japan. I start this blog to tell what I see, hear, and feel in Japan.

I'm happy if you find a hint for your business from this blog.
